According to a twitter poll, the most anticipated comic film of the year for Off The Page readers is Joker. The film’s trailer debuted recently, and is already earning Joaquin Phoenix huge applause for his portrayal as the iconic villain.
The film, directed by Todd Phillips, doesn’t surprise me as the winner given the timing of the poll. Shazam and Endgame are upon us now, and are sights are towards the future. Though one does wonder where all the support for Spider-Man went, seeing as his upcoming title received no votes on our poll.
